"Tovdesign has become well known for its "Aije" collection. This conceptual collection is based on the three-part EMOfurn principle. The first part deals with the industrial design which is purely functional and rather static. The second part stands for design, the object's beauty in combination with its functional aspect. The third part stands for emotion and conflict."

Aije and Emofurn, the definition of a new furniture style. An emotion through a furniture, a built-in expression, the user conflicted.
Meet Aije, who's name is derived from the human cry when when you got pinched.
Aije is a conceptual design collection created in 2003 to show (off) know-how in design, materials and technology. The collection existed out of some several objects such as a daybed, a carpet, lighting objects, a music player and some gadgets.
Hereunder Aije de lap - pulling carpet, when communication ends and Aije hold me, a daybed concept, lay down in the 'people-form' involves relaxation.
Aije the light, pinch a ball to turn on the light.
Aije the sound, an animated juke box player, pinch a testicle to activate a random scene with music.
